Methi Seeds Raita

Ingredients:

1. Methi seeds – 1/2 tsp
2. Mildly Sour curd – 1/2 cup
3. Coconut gratings – 1/2 cup
4. Green chilly – 1
5. Salt – 1/2 tsp

For seasoning: Ghee, Mustard seeds, Urad dal, Curry leaves

Method:

1. Fry methi seeds with 1 spoon of ghee.
2.Grind fried methi seeds, coconut and chilly together with little water.
3. After grinding add curd, salt to it and mix well.
4. Heat about 1 spoon of ghee and add 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds, urad dal.
5. When mustered splutters add curry leaves.
6. Then add this to raita.

Note: Curry leaves and methi seeds raitas are very cool for the body and it is very tasty with rice.
