Set Dosa

Ingredients:

1. Poha – 1 cup
2. Rice – 3 cups
3. Curd – 1 cup (Curd should not be very sour)
4. Methi seeds – 2 tsp.

Method:

1. Wash and soak rice, methi seeds in water for 3 hrs.
2. Soak poha in curd and keep.
3. Grind soaked rice, methi seeds, poha and curd altogether in to a fine paste and add about 2 tsp of salt.  The consistency of the batter should be enough to thickly coat on a spoon when dipped.
4. Store the dough in a large vessel for 8 hrs for it to ferment well.
5. Heat the tava, pour a ladle of batter on the tava and spread just a little. Cover it with a plate.
After 2 minutes spring a little ghee, turn it over and cook the other side.You can also make thin
dosas in a non stick tava.
6. Serve with butter and chutney.
