Ridge Gourd (Heere kaayi) skin Chutney – 2

Ingradients:
1. Skin of one Ridge Gourd
2. Urad dal – 3 tsp
3. Coriander seeds – 1/2 tsp
4. Red challis – 3 to 4
5. Curry leaves – 2 Strips
6. Hing – 1 pinch
7. Tamarind – A small lemon size
Method:
This chutney can be prepared without coconut also.
1. Fry the Ridge Gourd skin in one tsp of oil, till it becomes soft.
2. Fry masala – Urad dal, Coriander seeds, Red chilies, till Urad dal becomes golden brown.
3. Grind fried masala, fried Ridge Gourd skin, tamarind and salt without adding water.
Note:
1. Instead of Ridge Gourd skin you can also use the Ridge Gourd pieces.
2. This chutney will be very tasty with Rrice Idly or Chapatti.
